Built in Denmark in 1913 as a freighter to haul granite, WN RAGLAND is known as a "Baltic Trader". Purchased and rebuilt in the 1970’s by the entertainer Neil Young, for his personal use. The schooner WN RAGLAND
has led a pampered, and mostly private life, benefiting from care without regard for cost. She is adorned with many unique and interesting treasures, and continues to be a globally capable, fully found vessel in superb condition.
She differs greatly from many of the high passenger capacity vessels in her class, as she is simply a "family boat"—with an artistically exquisite and captivating interior .

The WN RAGLAND is not a sail training vessel and continues to be privately owned. She is available for limited charter work, and is also currently pursuing a career in the film industry. Her primary area of availability is the Pacific Coast, from Mexico to Alaska. She is available throughout the Pacific NW and beyond for interesting and longer term commitments.
